2004-03-18 bae yong joon , sarang hae yo
it is at times like this that i begin to reminisce about my favourite season.. yes, when the weather is so unpredictable, blowing hot and cold, i simply wish that it would be plain cold.. so cold it dips below zero.. i think you are already getting an idea as to which is my favourite season.. it will please me even more should it decide not to rain, but to snow.. yes, winter is my favourite season.. many people prefer spring, autumn or even hot hot summer.. but i feel that winter is the time for all things to hibernate.. where the earth is being renewed and refreshed.. without winter, there would never be a spring to look forward to.. all that snow.. who would not love it.. ok, that's an overstatement on my part.. but i LOVE it.. you know what? winter is also the best time to make a fashion statement.. believe me.. [i know some of you are shooting me incredulous glares].. but come to think of it, you cannot wear a lot in summer can you? no! all you can do is to pull off a shirt and shorts [or jeans/skirt] feat.. nothing else.. period.. if it is rainy, then throw in a sweater, larh! but in winter, everything is -oh so- different.. my reasons are coming up, so be patient.. firstly, you can pull out all your you know, those winter stuff.. your trench coats, duffel coats, waterproof down coats.. which is like wow.. i totally love them.. and not to mention that you have so many varieties of trench coats, including my favourite, the BURBERRY white trench coat.. =) [a uber wide grin].. that was only the coats, dearest.. then you have your woollen and acrylic stuff.. you can choose to wear them layered.. or as solid blocks of colours.. gosh, it's so disgustingly easy to make a fashion statement in them.. then, the scarves.. GOSH.. ok, you can wear double scarves, with one lighter shade and darker shade.. like lime green and green [not my taste though].. or you can pop on those uber long striped ones.. and tying them is the fun part.. there are so many ways to tie scarves.. just drape them around your neck, or tie them a la winter sonata.. and more.. just choose, larh!.. ahhhh.. yes, before i forget, the gloves! you can have leather ones.. treated or untreated.. then, rubberised ones.. or even wool ones.. which are so multi-coloured.. so many different versions.. [half faints with excitement] and i strongly believe, you have to go to japan or korea to get them.. no use going to europe.. believe me.. yes, my favourite.. your shoes.. wahaha.. those mock-croc boots.. [remember the sharp things i wore for the formal dinner?] yeah, something to the effect of that.. as you can see, winter is definitely, and has every reason, to be my favourite season out of the four.. and the good news, i'll be spending my dec hols abroad.. [that's if the signifant others do not change their minds at the eleventh hour =)] k, went to united world college at dover road.. and i was reminded of our pathetic lives.. and our sad existence.. the people there practically live lives as colourful as a rainbow, correction, MORE colourful.. i envy them.. really.. i would like to draw everyday, embark on interesting stuff.. but.. i know.. i am a singaporean through and through.. i still worry about not being able to feed myself.. so, i shall hereby forego all these.. [actually, i already have, don't you think so?] haiz.. but i got some inspiration from them for my physics hol homework.. hmm.. was watching the news just now.. bae yong joon has arrived.. ahaha.. my dearest friend did not even catch a glimpse of him.. so much for not listening to my advice to just stay at home, and look at him on television.. but nevertheless, wow.. i must say.. he even has an orchid named after him.. not bad eh? have taken to wearing my winter sonata necklace.. =).. will wear the evenstar one on saturday.. =) lotsa love sheenzie dearest
